Kona at Stif

At Kona, we're all about the freedom and empowerment of the bicycle. We have been since 1988. We still have the same founding owners. We're still populated by a staff of keen, active, impassioned cyclists. We're not big, nor are we that small. Just a dedicated group of cyclists making bicycles for people who love bikes-no matter if that love is new or long established.

We're delighted to include Kona bikes in our 2022 range here at Stif. We've watched the brand grow for almost as long as we've been around and been fans of both their bikes and their attitude for just as long. Somehow there's a Kona on every trail you ride, yet the brand remains 'boutique' - Not catering to the masses or compromising their ideals for commercial success, yet somehow so omnipresent as to be synonymous with mountain biking - a testament to both the quality of bikes Kona are producing and the rad team producing them out of their home in Bellington, Washington.

Built from the blueprints of the legendary Kona 111, the 134 was always going to be grin-inducing fun straight out of the box, but carefully considered geometry and component choice makes the 134 an excellent all-rounder and incredible value.

The 134 sits somewhere in between what we would generally consider a short-travel and a medium-travel bike, but somehow ticks all the boxes we'd want a bike in either category to, making it perfect when you only want one bike, but want the freedom to ride pretty much anything.
